Many a Human Heart

Tells the story of Helen Storm, fifty-eight and newly widowed after a long, quietly unhappy marriage, and her three children Margery, who divorced her first husband at some cost to her children; Dore (Theodore) an actor successful in his career and his marriage; and Paula, the youngest daughter who has built a successful London business, but who is unhappily involved with a married man.
