Dance Trap

The seventh-grade dance is coming up, and it’s making my complicated life even more complicated. My friends and I are on the planning committee, but bossy Anna and mean Jenny are, too. Anna wants to have a formal dance, but the boys won’t come if they have to wear suits. Plus, no one knows how to dance! I’ve got to make this dance fun for everybody . . . and there’s not much time! In just a week, I have to: 1. Plan the dance—and make sure it’s a dance everyone will want to go to2. Figure out what to wear3. Learn to dance4. Get up the nerve to ask Brad Turino to dance with me!
